before the shopping trip

This morning I made myself a veggie and cheese omelet (I’m passionate about cooking) and made a short video for my Instagram reel and Tiktok. Social media can be very time consuming. Over the course of the month, I became more focused on my blog content and began creating, scheduling, and planning my social media content in advance. This algorithm is very difficult for many people like me, especially new businesses like me who can’t afford to hire someone to interact with others on social media. Not enough time! I am a solopreneur.

I went out to deliver the book this morning. healthy fashion. I sent it to the media. Then I decided to head over to Nordstrom Rack to find some clothes to add to my minimal wardrobe. Some of the reasons I have a minimal wardrobe are because I’m very picky and I like to shop in stores (less assorted than online clothing stores). Since most fashions are made from synthetics and polyester fabrics, my wardrobe would be much larger if I were only wearing polyester clothes.

I went to Nordstrom and was lucky enough to find three beautiful plant-based garments. It really has an herbal taste to it. I made this late last night so I could eat something healthy the next day.

Why I went shopping for clothes:

One of the reasons I went clothes shopping was because I needed new clothes. Another reason is that I love going online and seeing all the fashions on social media and fashion news sites. They push me to dress!

I used to dress really well when I worked in fashion retail. I was really well dressed when I was younger too. But at the time, I didn’t care how the clothes felt on my body. I wear plant-based apparel and clothing that blends plant and synthetic fibers. Unfortunately, plant-based apparel is much more difficult to find in physical stores.

I want to try on new clothes for the fall season. Inspired by New York Fashion Week.Today was the last day of NYFW Sep. ’23

I have my own business, a healthy fashion campaign, so I need to look fashionable. For a long time, I didn’t buy fashion. Especially when I was writing my book, Healthy Fashion. I didn’t go out much because I was busy writing, and when I did, I didn’t care what I looked like. But I cared, and most of my wardrobe was still stylish.I like the athleisure style. I like to wear comfortable and stylish clothes. I’ve been through a lot of physical pain in my life, so I need clothes that are stylish and comfortable!

Today was a good day with my makeup on and feeling better!I wear crystal-infused eyeshadow Kora OrganicIt’s a sparkling pastel purple. (The product wasn’t listed on the site or I couldn’t find it, so I’ll have to search again sometime).I also put on my all natural lipstick. It’s made by Sky Organics Tinted Lip Balms, and they add an ingredient – peppermint essential oil, which I love. Aromatherapy. I wish I could dress up more, but as a writer/writer, I always dress more casually when I write. But I do know that some casual clothes can look really dressy. This is one of my favorite styles, dressy casual wear.

I love shopping in San Diego, California. My favorite places to shop are Nordstrom in Fashion Valley Mall, TJ Maxx in Mission Valley, Marshall’s, and some stores in Westfield Mall UTC in La Jolla, CA.

A lot of the clothes I own are t-shirts and sweatshirts, so I’m trying to add new items to my wardrobe. We need more novel tops and dressy sweaters.

This is a seasonless purchase. All three of his pieces I have purchased can be worn throughout each season. For example, the novelty sleeveless top I purchased from Nanette Lepore can be worn with a thick cardigan.

I was only able to get 3 pieces. Clothing is more special to me when I shop minimally.

Cotton and cotton/blend garments:

I am not 100% plant based. Sometimes I wear animal material, but not very often. Plus, I get itchy on most animal fur.

One of the pieces I purchased is made of 100% cotton fabric. His other two parts contain polyester or spandex, but no more than 10%. If less than 10% polyester, acrylic, or nylon, we recommend wearing a blended fabric. I have 60% cotton and 40% polyester sweatpants. I also have a loose jacket made of 100% nylon, but it has a loose silhouette so my body and skin can breathe.

Ultimately I want to have a 100% plant-based wardrobe, but others say it’s better to wear what you have now and add more clothes in the future. (and I agree).

I’m really happy that these three new releases contain very little nylon and polyester. I always thought the crewneck billabong sweater I bought was 75% cotton and 25% polyester. The proportion of polyester is quite high. When I got home, I looked at the label again. The label says 90% cotton and 10% nylon! I was really happy.
