In the world of online shopping, my boundless love for the latest, and my deep desire for comfort, I also find gems. Because it has existed for some time. But until I found out, I never thought of it as a ‘fashion destination’…
Amazon is my emergency contact, appliance heaven and last stop. It may sound pretty dramatic, but when you have a newborn, you find yourself needing a lot during the most ungodly hours of the day.
I never hesitated to order PRIME in the middle of the night, even if it was a diaper box during fashion week. Shows… but it wasn’t until not long ago that Amazon fashion became my new obsession. With so many contemporary brands now available with his PRIME shipping (next day, sometimes same day shipping) in his 3 clicks, it’s only a matter of time before we develop into a true love affair. did.
It may sound silly, but it really is a love story. Going to the store on my day off is really no fun.As is always the case in New York, the store is packed.I am someone who needs to shop in my own space. The store manager hovers behind me and, of course, with the best intentions, doesn’t ask if I need anything.
I don’t mean to sound rude, I know they are just doing their job, but the truth is, it takes away the shopping experience for me. . This is basically exactly what you get when you get your wardrobe staple from Amazon Fashion. I know who you are!
Speaking of wardrobe staples, this summer I stocked up on white t-shirts and tank tops — see what I’m wearing in this post. Peace. Layer knits over your shoulders or pull on a classic all-white denim jacket.
I also managed to get a nice poplin shirt from Ralph Lauren. I used to buy Thomas’ stuff, but now I have my own little section in my wardrobe. Oversized poplin from the American heritage brand. Another thing that is literally the best deal is athleisure wear, I’m not saying workout he wear. Because I’m not actually working out. It’s just worn at regular moments of the day. Here, I paired my love of the latest poplin in orange with heels for warm fall days, and trousers and knits for cooler days.
What I’m trying to say is that we need to rethink our shopping strategies, broaden our horizons, and look beyond what we know. Who knew it would be?
