PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is calling on women to go on a sex strike against men. But not for all men, but only for men who eat meat.

PETA claims that eating meat is a sign of toxic masculinity and is killing the planet. A PETA representative said the following about the call to action:

“We know that artery-clogging meat increases the risk of erectile dysfunction, and that every time you eat meat, you’re approaching an environmental catastrophe. It’s just not glamorous.”

A PETA Australia representative said the announcement was designed to be a conversation starter, adding: “We don’t care about your sex life at all.”
