Palm Springs Travel Guide & Photography

Palm Springs has been one of our favorite weekend getaways for about eight years. Only 2 hours from LA and such a beautiful place. Although rapidly growing in popularity, it is a chilly city, consistently about 10 degrees hotter than Los Angeles. Perfect for hanging by the pool. Damian and I went out for a little R&R last weekend. it was adorable. Then, just before going home, I met with my friend. avethirtyfour For a short photo shoot! These are the final images. I love you and I hope you do too. Below are some of my favorite places to stay and eat in Palm Springs! Happy travels.
stop
Avalon – Chill atmosphere, great food, great service, great spa, dog friendly!
Ace Hotel – Not only is it a party atmosphere, but it is also family friendly and has some pretty good food.
Two Bunch Palms (It’s not technically Palm Springs, but it’s nearby) – Frigid atmosphere, extensive spa services, delicious healthy food, and hot springs!
eat
workshop kitchen & bar – Favorite place to eat in PS! The food is great and so are the cocktails. Get everything from ribeyes to cauliflower steaks.
Truss & Twine – Fantastic and super fun cocktails and really great bar food. It’s next door to the workshop so you can pop in for dessert cocktails after dinner – get the White Russian.
rooster and pig – Delicious Vietnamese food in a super cold environment. Get there early or wait a bit for a table. This place is popular for good reason.
Melvins – A Palm Springs property worth visiting. Even if you don’t eat dinner, stop by for live music entertainment.
Elmers – Best diner food! Go here for a Sunday morning hangover cure or to stuff your face with biscuits and bacon. Get the German pancakes.
