NYFW S/S 2023: Where Did You Get It?

New York Fashion Week is now on the calendar. The NY fashion scene has grown a lot over the last few years and it’s even more exciting to be a part of the latest fashions! American fashion and style has always been a huge cultural force and has inspired people all over the world.Top his designers such as Tom Ford have built on tradition, but a new designer is this him. It’s great to see the day come when you can showcase your talent at NYFW. Same for people like me. Fashion week is also a chance to showcase your style and get inspired by the things around you. Below are some of my favorite looks I wore at Fashion Week!

hard statement

NYFW

I wore this outfit to the Lionne SS23 collection to kick off the first day of NYFW! Since it was the first look, I had to start with my ultimate favorite style piece: cargo pants! Paired with a statement pleated blouse that has been featured here many times (I saved this but other statement top linked in the carousel above). Personally, I wonder how these two parts fit together, but they work well. Cargo’s utility style helps balance the avant-garde blouse.Structurally they are both large pieces, so visually they also feel balanced. Margiela tabi sneakers and bottega veneta jodie bag, I’m glad I went! Elevated workwear was my favorite theme on the Spring/Summer 2023 runway. Given the history of American fashion and its relationship with workwear, it makes sense. Utility wear at its best, and this look is a perfect example of that.

soft and cool mix

Mixing soft and masculine elements feels like a master (for my taste!) at NYFW. You may have seen this Aje runway piece. Aje has always done some things The best feminine and structured dressesTo mix a masculine element into my looks, I used my frankie shop denim jacket I’m obsessed with it lately. Not only does the shape fit the dress perfectly, but it gives off that edgy vibe that I love. Denim is generally a great way to make dressy pieces more casual. However, the best way to achieve a balanced visual impact is to take the color from the dress and repeat it elsewhere—here, I chose floral blue, denim from Frankie Shop with his jacket. Blue Jacquemus Chiquito bagDetails matter!

Another way to refresh a soft, floral dress is with black pieces. Another favorite is the one worn at Marissa Wilson’s runway show.this beautiful Zimmermann plunge dress, I chose a black fedora and cowboy boots. Plus, it goes great with cowboy boots! (A tribute to the return of black cowboys to the American media).I also took advantage of the plunging neckline stacking silver necklacesI chose silver because of its overall soft and cool feel, but be careful with your skin tone as well. Some metals work better than others, depending on whether you’re warm or cold!

Elegance in one

NYFW

Change clothes and leave! With so little time between shows at NYFW, this style of dressing is more important than ever. I chose looks that let my outfit speak for me, with little need for layers. In fact, sometimes the simplest looks are the best.in this way hot pink dress I wore it on my way to the Tiffany Brown Design show. A modern and elegant bodice complements the color of the dress.I didn’t need anything extra except for some Valentino strappy sandals And a tie bag like silk.

So did Victor Gremaud’s stunning monochrome numbers (I wore them at their show too)!with white sneakers White Jacquemus Chiquito Bag To complete the look!

Which of my NYFW looks is your all-time favorite?
