It’s the final countdown, but before we hit the finish line, I wanted to share with you all the ways I prepared for my wedding in a complete beauty (and body) timeline.
Tell the truth. As far as my “ritual” goes, this year has been pretty boring for him. My eyebrows were unkempt, I ate a lot of my feelings (laughs!!), and I hadn’t had a facial in over a year. So, I packed a variety of things into my schedule to make sure I was feeling my best and most confident on my wedding day.
With that said, this is my timeline. Some of these things you don’t want or need could have solved an entire quarantine or kept your brows up. I really think it’s all about making you, the bride, feel your best!! wanted to share my journey with you 🙂

EMS Fitness: After months of stressful eating in quarantine, the first thing I did to get “prepped” for my wedding was to become more routine with working out. It took me about two weeks in quarantine, but it didn’t last long (it’s hard with the couch right there – do you feel it?). So, it’s about time. I have a bad back, so to really train, I literally have to train… train. A friend of mine who is in great shape kept posting about this workout called EMS FITNESS. I asked her and she said she has a great trainer in San Diego.
Her name is Amy Minnick and her program is “Fire Snake Fitness” Using EMS technology. In summary, connect to a machine that stimulates your muscles and work out while connected. To enhance your workout, 20 minutes of cardio or strength training is equivalent to 3 hours of cardio or strength training. I switch off, so I do cardio once a week and strength training once a week. I got great results right away. It helped me quickly build core strength to support my back.
Prolon Cleanse: I did it for the first time 3 months before the wedding prolon cleanseThis is basically a 5 day cleanse that mimics the idea of intermittent fasting and is also a really good reset of the cells. I felt great…and I lost 7 pounds in 5 days! I really love food and hate to deprive myself, but the Prolon cleanse was relatively easy! are mixed.

Whole Body Lymphatic Drainage Massage: Just before the bachelorette party, Anne and I participated in a program of 6 full-body lymphatic drainage + weight loss massages. Up Your Body Spa San Diego here. My session consisted of lymphatic drainage using radiofrequency, laser lipo (lying on a fat-burning red light blanket), and a manual weight loss massage. It does magic and a few inches of water weight massage! I love it.
Prolon Cleanse: The second prolon cleanse We recommend doing it once a month for 3 consecutive months before Bachelorette Weekend for full results!

Melissa Wood’s Wellness Workout: I wish I had started sooner, but I learned that Melissa Wood Healths I started training on the Bachelorette and when I got home (after recovering from my hangover, lol). I love her workouts – they are short, efficient, easy and you definitely feel the burn.EMS In addition to her workouts she aims for 2-3 times a week increase.
Teeth whitening: I set up a teeth cleaning and made sure they added teeth whitening. I wanted to, but maybe 2 weeks is more ideal! I continued with my teeth whitening at home Lumineux Whitening Strips– My favorite because it is effective and safe for sensitive teeth. I use these once or twice a week until the big day 🙂

Botox/Fillers: I made an appointment for Botox and lip filler touch-ups three weeks in advance. We shot a very detailed vlog with all the details of what we did. subscribe to my youtube here So you can be notified when it’s up!

Colonics: I reached out to another girlfriend who knows all the “hot tips” when it comes to being in top shape for your wedding and she said I had to try colon. I did, and I booked two more before the wedding (one a week, three weeks!). It was a wild experience, but I must say- I feel so great afterwards. I will definitely keep these up once a month after marriage. Read about my colon experience here.

eyebrow: I like to finish my brows slightly forward. Because it is often quite dark at first, I think a week is enough time for it to fade to the perfect color. I am obsessed with forehead lamination. It makes your brows look fuller and lasts for like 5 weeks. No need to brush up your brows anymore.
hair: I have a hair appointment scheduled for this Friday and will be doing a vitamin C treatment to clean up all the build up and a gloss treatment for extra shine (I have a tint of color so I’m going to have to do some hair prep for my hair). The color evens out too!), followed by an additional deep conditioning treatment.
Prolon Cleanse: my last prolon cleanse It’s happening when we’re talking! Again, I love this cleanse. Very easy (3rd day not great, but bearable).

nail: I do my nails/toes 2 days in advance because I don’t want to chip my toes. I need that nail polish to stay solid for 5 days!
Spray tongue: & not just spray tanning!! For your wedding, avoid spray tan booths and go to a custom spray tan airbrush artist. We already discussed tanning for my wedding. I’m not going to get tanned as usual because I don’t want to overdo it with a pure white wedding dress.I’m looking for more of a nice medium glow.Spray on the illusion of abs, nice lol)
facial: I had a facial (6 days before the wedding – 3 days would be ideal as my girls were booked for more!) and then a Hydrafacial with dermaplaning. HydraFacials is her JAM, plump and hydrated for skin benefits. Dermaplaning is great for creating a smooth surface for makeup application on your big day.
