Here are some things Paloma Elsesser revealed to the WSJ. magazine…
Elsesser on writing a collection of personal essays:
“The way I look at my work is, like, let’s say I lose all my memory. You can always look back on these things and they exist,” she says, since entering the industry in 2015. She says, referring to the many shoots she has done. I want to be the mediator of those things.
Elsesser talks about the importance of long-term friendships with models like Bella Hadid, Precious Lee, Imaan Hammam, and low-profile friends.
“Having these long-term friendships that have gone through drug addiction, grief, loss, etc… and being able to work through it,” Elsesser says.

“I didn’t fit in with the typical plus-size woman in the industry,” says Elsesser, who first tried her hand at fashion. “What were they going to do with me?”

She got up at 7:00 a.m., meditated naked for 30 minutes, and began to “journalize my little 30-year-old mind.” It’s been a big year for her, and a rough year as well. She bought her first home, went through a big breakup, and was dating for the first time in years. “I felt like I was alone here, and I wasn’t going to die from it,” she says of that period.

“We feel the need to be more honest [about these experiences],” she says. What must someone who is going through it completely alone with no finances and options feel? It’s beyond terrifying.”
Elsesser describes how it feels to be 30:
“I felt like… I don’t want a boyfriend, I don’t want this job. I have everything I ever wanted,” she says. “It made me… feel good enough for once. And I really felt it—for the first time ever.”

She plans to “go on a rampage” for two years. “We build corporate decks on vacation,” she says of her friends. “We’re talking about what’s bigger and better.” Paloma Elsesser Net Worth
