It’s no surprise why Milan is the fashion capital of the world, but for just one week in September it becomes a city obsessed, obsessed and all-consuming with what’s fashionable. Milan literally sleeps, eats and breathes his late-September fashion, the city’s streets and show venues flooded and well-dressed with chauffeured celebrities from all over the world claiming front-row seats at the show. Jodie Turner-Smith, Fionn O’Shea, Daisy Edgar Jones-Smith for Gucci, Hunter Shaffer, Storm Reid and Lorde for Prada, Julia Fox for Diesel, Alessandria Ambrosio for Alberta Ferretti, Shay for Fendi・Mitchell and others have expressed their support. Their pet designers have delighted an army of street-style paparazzi, jumping on all the glitz and glamor of the sidewalks. The energy was palpable, and the show was instantly interpreted and made a frenzy on social media. Tik-Tok and Youtube jinging With all the drama, theatre, show antics, and trends!

When it comes to trends, it was all about gorgeous glowing skin on display – or so it felt! Introducing lingerie-inspired pieces. Blazing hot and ultra-sexy brands Roberto Cavalli, Versace and Blumarine showcased their own take on the form-fitting, closed-cut trend. A bit of a sensual design language. Even Missoni has created a show full of body caressing super pieces this season.

Streetwear labels Diesel, Dsquared, and GCDS also embraced the trend and paid tribute to it. “Mermaid” theme (new “Little Mermaid’ The movie?) was also prolific. Denim was seen in many collections, especially Blumarine, Diesel and GCDS. Like royal purple, black was also important, especially in Donatella’s Versace “Gothic” collection. It was bright and shining. Overall, bright, fun, fun, very Spring and summer!
