“The design process is very similar to how we designed for Rentrayage. We started with old Madewell stock, looked at parts, started chopping them up, and breaking things in unexpected ways,” he says. Rentrayage founder Erin Beatty says. “for example, Mashup denim shirt jacketused existing seams to cut incisions, replaced the lower half with a puffer, and added denim pockets for continuity. So shoppers will find touches that are very special and completely unique, says Beatty.
