When you hear the word clay in the context of face masks, you think of dark gray charcoal-style mud masks. I know what it is. My skin feels a little taut, but that’s how you know it. SomethingSo when I decided to slap a few things, I was thinking Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask One incredibly hot summer night, watching probably my favorite movie, The Prestige.

I applied it with my fingers and left so much that I can only describe it as “little”. It’s probably been longer than it was supposed to be, but I’ve been waiting for that moment in the movie where I know nothing important is going to happen. That’s enough time.

When I washed it off, I was shocked to find that my skin was smoother, plumper and somehow cleaner than before. Like, wait, is it supposed to feel that way all the time? I could literally see the difference in my skin, and this was even with the lighting in the bathroom at 10pm. Are your pores tightened? yes. skin lift? Well, it’s not a facelift, but it definitely looked plump! Baby soft? It’s been a while since I was a baby, but yeah, it was soft like a baby. It was quite creepy to keep touching it over and over and over and over again, and to touch my face with my housemate for the first time in a while.

I don’t like to rave about products but this one blew me away. Bright, fluffy and soft. I can imagine this would be perfect for a night out before a night out when you really want to prep your skin, or for days when you want to wear minimal makeup. that’s right. It’s wonderful and totally unexpected. Oh my god, Charlotte, is there anything you can’t do?
