What do you think the rest of your daily makeup looks like?
Oddly enough, I always joke that I used to wear a lot more makeup when I was younger than I do now. [look]We feel so lucky to have very natural skin and natural makeup right now. I like to do tinted sunscreen, so I have a kind of uniform base, and the Kosas concealer is literally my favorite. I also love the Tower 28 Creme Blush and the Chanel Creme Bronzer.
I am obsessed with using [the brow pen] Kind of a multi-use product, so from my collection now. I use it on my brows just to fill in sparse areas. You know when concealer covers natural moles while you’re wearing makeup? I like to explore beauty marks and redefine them so they don’t get lost. Next, I want to add some freckles. I always find it really cute. I don’t know why, but I like it! Lastly, I am totally obsessed with lip liners. I can’t go without it. I carry one in every purse wherever I go. very good.
Let’s talk about Morphe, Changement and your new collection! What inspired the collection?
We started by talking about how Morphe has evolved since we created our first collection. “Yeah, I’m growing so much. My style is changing and evolving.” For some reason, it got me thinking about changement, the literal dance term for change. I thought this was a good use of my dance background, but it was also created for this evolving collection.always changing like the weather [and] It’s always up and down. It’s always evolving and the seasons change, so I wanted to play it off, so I took that in as well. I thought it would be a really fun concept for the photo shoot and all the images behind the product.Because I thought it would be fun to make something like water. [of the products] All palettes are based on growth, change, evolution, and more. There are also plays based on the weather, such as “Tornado” and “Hurricane.”
Do you have a favorite look you would like to create with the collection?
I’m obsessed with these colors simply because they weren’t what we were aiming for in the first place. I did. I didn’t feel it. Then I found this deep blue shade that I now call Down Pore. ’ So we decided to play it off and started creating a deeper tone. I think this is working very well now that we are transitioning into the fall. My favorite is there is a shade called Reflex which is literally the first shade in the palette and it is really beautiful on its own but you can also layer what we have on all the campaign photos is displayed in When layered over the down pore of the shade, its reflection changes, creating this new beautiful shade that is very two-tone. I loved it and was very proud of it.
It’s a really cool concept for a palette. When I saw the shade, it reminded me of Pat McGrath eyeshadows. Her eyeshadow is amazing! What is your daily eye look like? Do you have a favorite that you like to create with palettes?
She was definitely an inspiration!Now (as I told you), I love natural looks–that’s my go-to. I wanted to do both with this palette. [natural and glamorous shades] Because I’m never in the middle.i’m doing crazy blue [look] With a graphic eye, or I keep it natural. There are some really beautiful transition shades that look great on any skin tone. I usually use transition shades and run them through the crease. There is also a really beautiful beige shade which I love. It’s my go-to right now, but not overpowering, just because it adds dimension and brings my face to life. Like a really beautiful red color, it looks really nice when you put it on your cheeks sometimes. I prefer to do that
I love using eyeshadow as a blush! It’s so nice that the shade works perfectly with both.
I accept! It can be used for a cohesive eye area and can also be applied to eyeshadow. That sounds really good.
If you had to choose one item from your collection that you would use for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I choose a palette because you can do everything with it. You can use it on your brows too. So I would definitely say yes.
