Wow, can’t believe it’s been a year since Jordan and I closed our forever home! This has been a long wait and we are very excited to share our home renovation tour with you. Renovated the entire ground floor and minor tweaks upstairs (carpet cleaning, new paint, etc) The we. I also love renovating my basement for use and snuggling up there on movie nights.
I am very grateful that we were able to work together. Leslie Cotter’s interior to build our dream home. Leslie It nailed it with the rustic yet traditional feel I was looking for and I couldn’t be more pleased. interior designer, I highly recommend her: professional, quick, organized, and most importantly understands your tastes (rather than just doing what designers like). For the first time ever, I was satisfied (more than satisfied, in fact) with the house and decor. Our house is literally perfect (to our taste), so between you and me, we don’t have to buy a house or even decorate it for fall. Cohesive yet unique, we love it all!
When was my favorite part of the design work Leslie We met at the furniture selection last December. This huge table in her office was filled with photographs of her furniture, art, fabrics, rugs, and paint swatches, all organized by room, including dimensions and specs. It was like actually visualizing an entire house completely finished — even though I hadn’t even built the walls yet. Renovating a home is a stressful undertaking but it helps if a good designer can communicate with contractors to create a cohesive home.?check out her portfolio here!
moreover, Claire Miller Home I sourced all the furniture, so most (if not all) of it can be purchased from her store. She has stores in Lexington and Louisville, but you can order from her even if you’re not local. It was so easy because we didn’t have to worry about shipping or assembling furniture and Claire monitored all our items and kept us up to date on COVID delivery delays etc. Talk about a dream team!
Some parts of the first floor are not shown, but the main room is perfect! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
