Cute coordination with jeans
We all have one pair of jeans in our closet that fits well and looks good with anything. Solid blue jeans can be the perfect outfit in your closet, regardless of cut. But turning your trusty casual jeans into something a little dressier can be tricky. Here are some cute outfit ideas to help you dress up your favorite basic jeans. Whether you’re planning a night out on the town, brunch with the ladies, or date night, there’s no reason to think you can’t incorporate your favorite pair of jeans!
1) add some edges
No matter what style type you gravitate towards, adding an edge is always fun and easier than you think! For example, instead of wearing a cool layered button-down shirt: When Edgy combat boots, just put on your boots. By the way, these AG jeans are very good. It has a very nice slim fit but a straighter leg, perfect for those who like skinny jeans and are looking for an updated denim silhouette. I love medium light washes. It’s a little big, so I recommend sizing down. I’m normally a 26 and wear a 25.
The My Maje top is no ordinary button-down shirt. The built-in tank makes that effortless layered look a whole lot easier. There are only a few sizes left, so if you see it, please pick it up. On my feet, I’m wearing See by Chloe’s Combat Girl Boots. I’ve had these for several years and love wearing them with jeans, dresses and skirts in fall and winter.
2) add leather
If combat boots and edgy tops don’t suit your style, try adding leather instead. Pair your favorite pair of jeans with a basic white t-shirt and a leather blazer or jacket to instantly upgrade your look and feel fresh. She wears the same AG jeans with a white Nation LTD T-shirt, black mules, and a black vegan leather blazer by Alice + Olivia. This blazer is so buttery soft and has a lovely fit. Swap your open-toe mules for boots, pumps, or sneakers in the fall.
3) Upgrade your outerwear
In the same way, freshen up your cute jeans look with new fall/winter outerwear. From statement coats, chic cardigans, and edgy jackets, jeans can take your jeans to the next level with a simple change of outerwear. You may remember this gorgeous Sam Edelman trench from Nsale. I love the contrast between the green and black combination and the blend of leather and wool. A truly modern piece!
4) Add texture
Add texture to your jeans look by changing what you wear over it. A silk cami is worn in this look, but it can also be worn with a super fuzzy sweater or a feminine lace top. It’s around the V-neckline and really pops. I love how this modern mother tucks into her jeans.in jeans Amazing High-rise (11.25″) and straight-leg silhouette. Not only does it make your legs look longer, but straight legs feel fresher than skinny jeans.
