Christian Wynants is back on the runway for the first in-person public fashion showcase since global lockdowns made virtual shows the norm. I came. Monochrome, fluid, layering: these are some of the words that set Wynants’ Spring/Summer 2023 offer apart from the rest.

Across the 38 looks, the color palette incorporated tropical hues of purple, orange-red, turquoise, and peach, with earthy green tones contrasting with black and white neutrals. With a laid out summer print and a floral necklace on a ruffled neckpiece, this designer detail does just that. As such, the entire collection is a clear love letter to all things summer beachside.

It’s not going to be an edgy Christian Wynants show. That’s why we’re obsessed with this latex accessory, including this latex sock moment above. The model wore a glossy natural make-up with sand added to the sides of her face, reminiscent of a beach vibe.
