Blogger’s Journey: Los Cabos

DSC_0901-Edit.jpg

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I recently spent a weekend in Mexico on a blogger trip with three other boss babes. , creating content, getting to know each other, and relaxing by the water away from real life and responsibilities.

Hotel El Ganzo

It was such a wonderful feeling to escape the blistering Vegas heat and spend our days on the beach! gooseEl Ganzo is most famous for artists and musicians vacationing here (like Adam Levine!). Contemporary art covers the entire hotel, including a hidden recording studio in the basement.

We each had our own deluxe room with a bath tub and an amazing view. In fact, you won’t feel left out at this exclusive boutique hotel, as every room offers ocean and marina views.

Our first night was spent getting to know each other at El Ganzo’s downstairs restaurant, drinking the freshest guacamole I’ve ever had and, of course, BOMB DRINKS. We all called it early in the morning to prepare for our second day of shenanigans.

acrebaja

A must visit if you are planning a trip to Cabo acrebajaKnown for its lush gardens, tranquil atmosphere and delicious food. We were given a tour of the grounds including sustainable gardens, horses, goats and dogs rescued by staff. Yes, a rescued dog. 1 million points to Acre Baja for doing great things for the community!

After an afternoon indulging in the deliciousness of the food and drink, we quickly headed to the tranquil pool surrounded by cacti and mango trees.

Honestly, if I had known about Acre Baja a few years ago, I would have persuaded all my friends and family to fly out and get married there. But if you are planning a wedding, you definitely should!

SUR Beach House

On the third day, from San Jose to Cabo San Lucas, onStepping into SUR automatically makes you feel like a VIP. It gave me a major Santorini vibe with all the cool whites and textures.

Recommend the ceviche, guac (of course), and anything on the sushi menu! All the cocktails we tried were also great, so you can’t go wrong.

After a delicious lunch, we were escorted to our private lounge chairs and spent the rest of the day soaking up the sun and waves!

Finally, the main attraction, THE ARCHES! SUR has its own boat service We can take you and your group to the arch for some great photos! It was about an hour. We had plenty of time to capture some great content and see the beautiful arches up close.

To wrap up our trip, we spent our final night relaxing at El Ganzo’s spa and gorgeous infinity pool, followed by dinner at a nearby local restaurant.

The hardest part of the trip was having to say goodbye to my new gorgeous girlfriend. 🙁 Sunday was the saddest day we all said goodbye but luckily Cheyenne and Christine were able to record cutest vlog To be seen again and again to relive this journey!

cabo travel tips

– When I visited Mexico, I came home completely devoured by mosquitoes. Pack or buy bug spray. For some reason they seem to hate Sean (you know how lucky he is) but they’re so into my blood that I carry bug spray everywhere I go. was carrying around!

– Be prepared for high humidity and pack accordingly! Our hotel room was the perfect temperature (I always have my hotel room air conditioner set one step away from freezing to death) but , literally the moment you step outside you’re already dripping with sweat… no bueno.

– It’s time to break your hat! As women, we remember to protect our skin, but we often forget to protect our scalp and hair from the sun.i brought you a favorite lack of color hat and hook Amazon’s perfect hat box To make traveling easier with them!

– A rental car is recommended if you plan to travel between San Jose and Cabo. Driving time between the two cities is about 35-40 minutes and Uber service is a little spotty. Our rental car was a life saver and very handy for finding filming locations!
