The crew was invited to Windsor to meet the Princess of Wales for the first time since her appointment as sponsor of the HMS Glasgow ship was announced last June.

HMS Glasgow is the first of a new City Class Type 26 frigate for the Royal Navy. The first batch of new generation ships, on the River Clyde she is being built by BAE Systems, followed by HMS Cardiff and her HMS Belfast in the first class.
